Here a work I did for bruno bananis “flirt-camp” campaign. I worked on the model together with my brother Tulio. The main character for the campaign was the polish model Ania Tomaszewska. However, the final character ended up looking quite different to the human original (which was not our fault ;-) ). The finished 3d […]
This is a Title intro I did for Ellis Video Produções in Brasil. The Logo was modeled and animated in Blender 2.63. Compositing and Lens flare effects in Adobe After Effects.
Cycles is quite impressive when it comes to rendering transparent materials. I’ve also noticed a remarkable increase of rendering speed with the new version of blender 2.64. Modeling, rendering, lighting done in blender. Some color adjustments were done in Photoshop.
This is a little test doing some imaginary screen elements in blender 3d. It’s probably much easier to do in another software like After Effects or similar. It was still fun :). The soundtrack used is called “Moments in Space” written by spinmeister.
I did this little modeling practice today. The intention of modeling the robotic arm was to do some animation with it. The skinning of the model is not finished yet, and I probably will add some more details to the model. Apart from that I’m happy with the new wire shader I got from Blendswap. It […]
This stylized bee is a 3d avatar for a honey company here in Brazil/São Paulo. It was all modeled, rigged and rendered in Blender. The head was sculpted in Zbrush. Here the steps from idea to finish. Hope you like it.
I’ve been trying out something more technical, and I found this tutorial about precision modeling with Blender. It has been written for Blender 2.49, but if you have a basic knowledge with the newer versions of Blender, it will be no problem to adapt. It is very well written and one of the best tutorials […]
The two boxers are rigged now, so I did some animation tests. Works quite good so far. Some textures still need some refinement, but as most of it will not be visible in the final renders, I won’t be spending too much time on detailing. Those figures are not the high- but medium resolution meshes. […]
So here is a test-render of a boxer, based on my previous boxer model. I just altered the head and anatomy a bit. It was rendered in cycles, and though this render-engine doesn’t support normal maps yet, the result looks quite decent in my opinion. The skin has been painted and generated with Zbrush. I […]
I haven’t been working in Zbrush for quite a while, and it’s always a bit strange to come back to the pixologic approach of a user interface… It’s fun and somehow refreshing though! Hopefully this Boxer character I’m trying to finish in my spare time, will look good, once it’s textured and rendered. I’m not […]
Ok, so here is a new version of our old Golden vector logo, this time done in 3d. The boxing fans in our forum liked the old look, so the idea rose, just to updated the old logo, and try to give it somehow a “classic” look. The Belt and the Text was modeled in […]
This was a logo concept done in Blender and rendered with the internal Blender render engine. It was basically my first try to build a logo completely in 3d, and i think it didn’t come out too bad :). We won’t be using this logo though, as it differs too much from the original one.
I’m currently working on our new Boxing title. For this version I’m using a lot of Blender for the Background images and the menus. This image was not rendered in Blender yet, but with the progress on the cycles render engine, I’ll probably use that engine soon. Here a sample image: You can see some […]
I had some free time lately, as my main computer broke. So I tried out modeling some things in blender, on my wife’s rather old 13″ Macbook. It worked really good so far. Blender has become extremely stable, and is pretty lightweight for the features it offers. I might stick to it. I am still […]
